| Joseph is an experienced team leader in the provision of sustainability management, regulatory compliance, technical expertise and advisory services to the private sector, government and international organizations in the Asia Pacific Region and Canada.
He started his career as a university lecturer / assistant professor in China and later moved into international business. His wide-ranging intellectual interests drew him into continued academic studies in literature, history, politics, economics, finance and management at Peking University, the University of Cambridge and the University of Melbourne. His business career spans over industries and sectors of automobile, banking, consulting, education, renewable energy and greenhouse gas management. He was the chief of staff for APEC Business Advisory Council and managed the formulation of the Council’s sustainability and governance policy recommendation report to the APEC Leaders. He managed joint venture negotiations and communications between multinational corporations, and brokered strategic partnerships for NGOs and promising SMEs. |
